Arco- is Milenna's newest series. This series is about celebrating and acknowledging all forms of love. When love’s mysteries are allowed to be naked, and all truths embraced inside a protective sphere of this world, that connective blooming may be the garden of our shared belonging. The artist believes in art as a democracy of pathways, leading us to and from ourselves. Most of the work engages a dialogue of sexuality, identity, and a confrontation of the conceptual understanding of self/other. This work seeks to distance itself from a literal figurative foundation to engage with an exploration of color, forms, and triumph of substance as seductive, overt, and playful.
