The series entitled Ephemeral was started in 2015. In this series, the purpose of the portrait is not only to capture the external likeness of a person, but to create a portal to an inner journey of self-exploration for the viewer. Milenna has been investigating topics related to gender, where female ancestry, the goddesses, the witches and the female gaze are protagonists. In them, concepts related to the construction and deconstruction of the identity are explored, a process that tries to reconsider the conventions of figurative painting, through a continuous search towards abstraction, exploring the limits of acrylic paint.

A série intitulada Efêmera foi iniciada em 2015. Nesta série o objetivo do retrato não é somente capturar a semelhança externa de uma pessoa, mas sim de criar um portal para uma jornada interior de auto exploração ao observador. Milenna vêm investigando nesta temas relacionados a questões de gênero, onde a ancestralidade feminina, as deusas, as bruxas e o olhar feminino são protagonistas. Nelas são explorados conceitos relacionados à construção e desconstrução da identidade, um processo que tenta reconsiderar as convenções da pintura figurativa, através de uma busca contínua em direção a abstração, explorando os limites da tinta acrílica.
